Pearl cotton is a new type of environmentally friendly packaging filling material, which combines some good properties: bright, chemically inert, good sealing performance, easy to form and process, and at the same time, this also determines that pearl cotton is one of the materials widely used in the polymer industry one.
The traditional packaging material EPS is difficult to recycle. After the product is used, it is discarded, incinerated, and buried deep. The ingredients can be recycled, and in nature, it will naturally decompose into other substances after being exposed to the sun or buried in the ground for several months, and will not pollute the environment.
What are the characteristics of pearl cotton? Let’s analyze it together.
The common color of pearl cotton is white, and there are other colors, such as black and red. It has different densities, generally about 18KG. There are also higher densities, such as: 22KG, 25KG, 28KG, etc. The higher the density, the higher the price. EPE is foamed from new materials and also from recycled materials. The thinner ones are 0.5MM, 1MM, 2MM, 3MM, 4MM, 5MM, etc. For positioning molding processing, the thickness is 5MM, 10MM, 15MM, 20MM, 25MM, 30MM, 35MM, etc. If it is like 23MM, 27MM, etc., it needs to be customized. In terms of performance, it can be divided into ordinary EPE pearl cotton and anti-static pearl cotton.
